This is a beautiful team that prioritises awhi and aroha and ensures our outcome is always achieved (which is why they won the BSI team culture award in 2024!). We're walking this work/life journey together, and I'm so proud of their mahi outside this space, and grateful for the skills, passion and unwavering patience they bring to our kaupapa.
This pic is todays closing circle - an opportunity to self reflect, check in, celebrate ourselves and each other.
Our biggest challenges remain the same over the last three and a half years:
funding - a constant hustle to keep us operational
big feelings to manage, with most of our tamariki requiring additional support to manage, regulate and communicate their needs.
Our children need these spaces more than ever, and we're so proud to be here in the Eastern Bay, making a difference
